Terms of Service

1. Service Provider

VehicleStudio ("the Service") is operated by:

Throughout these terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to the operator above. "You" and "your" refer to the person or entity using the Service.

2. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using VehicleStudio you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Description of Service

VehicleStudio provides automated vehicle photo processing, including background replacement, shadow generation, logo watermarking, and related image editing tools for automotive dealerships and professionals. The Service is delivered as a digital service over the internet.

4. Account Registration

To use the Service you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly via Stripe.
  • You may cancel at any time through your Account page or Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 14 days of a charge.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
  • Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless stated otherwise.

6. Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen, SFS 2005:59), you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.

To exercise your withdrawal right, notify us by email at support@vehiclestudio.app with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. We will reimburse all payments received from you within 14 days using the same payment method.

Exception for digital content: When you start using the paid Service (e.g., begin processing images), you acknowledge that delivery of the digital service has begun and you thereby agree that you lose your right of withdrawal for the portion of the service already delivered. You will be informed of this at checkout and asked for your explicit consent before delivery begins.

7. Free Trial

We may offer a limited free trial. The trial lets you test the Service before subscribing. No payment method is required for the trial. You are not charged unless you actively choose a paid plan.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures.
  • Use the Service for automated bulk processing beyond your plan's limits.
  • Share account credentials or resell access to the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store those images solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. This license ends when you delete the images or your account. We do not use your images for training, marketing, or any purpose beyond providing the requested processing.

VehicleStudio's software, templates, backgrounds, and branding are our intellectual property and may not be copied or distributed without written permission.

10. Data & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the legal bases for processing, your rights under the GDPR, and how to exercise them.

GDPR roles: For account, billing, and usage data we act as data controller. For the vehicle images you upload, you are the data controller and we act as data processor, processing images solely on your instructions. The processing of uploaded images is governed by our Data Processing Agreement (DPA), which forms part of these Terms and satisfies GDPR Art. 28.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by Swedish law, VehicleStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for damages caused by intent (uppsåt) or gross negligence (grov vårdslöshet), nor for liability that cannot be limited under mandatory Swedish or EU law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may terminate your account before they take effect.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply where they provide a higher level of protection.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall primarily be resolved by amicable negotiation. If no resolution is reached, you may file a complaint with the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se).

EU residents may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

For disputes not resolved through the above, the courts of Sweden shall have jurisdiction.
